ABOUT
Danish girl in London, Josephine Peppink is a producer, rapper, and songwriter who moved to the UK with a dream and built her career from the ground up. More than a decade ago, she hit London’s open mics and busking circuit, live looping beats while rapping and singing over them, making her name in the city, one fan at a time. That grassroots journey led to key milestones, including a sold-out show at The Bermondsey Club and a headline performance at O2 Academy Islington in 2019, marking her arrival as a live artist.
Since then, Josephine has written hundreds of songs for herself and other artists, collaborating with Derrick McKenzie, Matt Johnson, and Paul Turner of Jamiroquai on YOYOKA’s track “Time Travel.” Her single “Hey Boo!” with McKenzie and Zoran Jevtic reached the Top 20 Soul Funk Disco chart on Traxsource and received airplay on iHeartRadio.
Today, Josephine keeps her creative output relentless, releasing a new 1-Minute Rap every Sunday on social media, sharing her genre-crossing sound directly with her audience. She then selects the strongest moments for official release on Spotify.
Beyond the music, Josephine stands for embracing difference. Her journey is proof that the very things that make you feel out of place can become your greatest strength. As a Danish underdog in the UK rap scene, she uses her story to encourage others to dream bigger, trust their instincts, and turn their individuality into a superpower.
